- The loft's maximum capacity is 240 birds. This will be a strict limit. You can reserve perches by prepaying, otherwise it will be first come, first served.
- Accepting birds from February 1st through June 1st.
- Accepting replacement birds until June 15th.
- The Perch Fee is $25 per bird. Fees are non-refundable and must accompany birds when shipped - no exceptions.
- The Entry Fee is $375 per bird. $300 for prizes and $75 for race expenses.
- The Entry Fee is payable after the 110 Mile Race and before the first 160 Mile Race.
- The 110 Mile Race is the Activation Race.
- All birds returning from the 110 Mile Activation Race must be activated before the first 160 Mile Race or your entire team will become the property of the Grand Canyon Classic and sold with all rights retained by the new owner. No pick and choose!
- No other birds will be flown from the Grand Canyon Classic loft.
- A completed IRS form W9 will be required for any winnings of $600 or more.
- French Connection Loft will not be allowed to breed any birds for entry.
- Breeders will not be allowed to handle their birds until the shipping night of the Grand Canyon Classic.
- 100% of all entry fees will be paid out in Capital Prizes.
- All Grand Canyon Classic entries will have their 9th and 10th flights pulled in early July.
- The Grand Canyon Classic will not be held responsible for birds lost due to unforeseen events.
- A full accounting will be provided with final race results.
- Average speed will include the following races. It will be paid by Wincompanion calculations.

- First Drop will split prizes equally for those positions taken, after that by clocking order.
- Ties in the clock will be added together and split equally.
- If a bird does not clock, due to piggybacking/or clock or chip malfunction, and the Grand Canyon Classic can verify the bird was on that drop, it will be given the last place on that drop.
- The arrival of the first pigeon(s) together will be considered the First Drop and paid equally for those positions taken.
- Any pigeon that arrived and does not trap with the first bird(s) will be considered on the drop until another pigeon arrives. All prizes at this point will be paid by clocking order.
- Must be 18 years or older to enter.
- No one involved with the Grand Canyon Classic will be allowed to enter birds.
- All birds remain the property of the breeders. No buybacks or auctions.
- All birds not claimed 10 days after the last race become the property of the Grand Canyon Classic, and will be dispersed at the discretion of the loft manager.
- Breeders pay return shipping via USPS. Current rates will apply.
- If excessive weather is predicted on the racecourse, the loft manager has the right to change the release time, date, or location of the race.
- The Grand Canyon Classic loft manager reserves the right to make all final decisions.
- The Grand Canyon Classic reserves the option to refuse entry to anybody it deems inappropriate.
- Entry into this race is the participants' acknowledgment and acceptance of these rules.
